At Event & Media Structures, we don’t just provide event structures. We create the foundations that allow bold artistic visions to take shape. From fashion installations to large-scale public art, we’ve worked with some of the most innovative artists and designers to turn their ideas into tangible experiences.

Here are just a few of the standout projects we’ve supported:

Scaffolding Brut by Beta Tank

Berlin-based design studio Beta Tank set out to make scaffolding beautiful. Designer Eyal Burstein reimagined scaffolding joints by casting them in glazed porcelain with gold and platinum nuts and bolts, transforming these everyday structural components into delicate design objects. The project was presented at the Victoria & Albert Museum as part of the London Design Festival, showing how even the most industrial materials can be reimagined.

Fendi’s Design Vertigo

A collaboration between Fendi and Design Miami, this immersive installation at Salone del Mobile featured anamorphic perspective painting, an interactive LED wall, and a scaffolding-based theatre structure designed by artist Graham Hudson. The space was populated with suspended figures dressed in Fendi’s signature furs, blending art, fashion, and architectural structure.

Please Feed the Lions – Es Devlin

An interactive installation in Trafalgar Square, this project explored artificial intelligence and design through a roaring, illuminated lion that transformed visitors’ words into poetry. We built the projection towers that displayed these AI-generated words onto Nelson’s Column, ensuring they were seen by the crowds throughout the festival.

Comme des Garçons: CONCRETE at Selfridges

For the launch of Comme des Garçons’ CONCRETE fragrance, we helped construct an exclusive installation by Graham Hudson inside Selfridges’ Beauty Hall and window display. The space was designed as a sensory and sculptural experience, using raw materials, sculpted figures, and layered textures to reflect the creative vision of the fragrance. This was one of many projects we’ve supported with Hudson, whose work often experiments with architectural form and materiality.

The Built, The Unbuilt, and The Unbuildable – Festival of Creative Urban Living

Milton Keynes hosted its first-ever Festival of Creative Urban Living, inviting artists, designers, and urban planners to rethink how we live in cities. We provided the event structures for exhibitions and installations that explored both the history of urban design and future possibilities, creating spaces for discussion, collaboration, and public engagement.

Carsten Höller’s “Decision” Exhibition

A playful and immersive exhibition at Hayward Gallery, where visitors could experience art in motion. The highlight was Isomeric Slides, a set of Perspex chutes that allowed people to slide from the top floor to the entrance level. We provided the structural elements that made this kinetic, interactive installation possible.

Shaping the Future of Art & Design

We thrive on projects that push boundaries, working with artists, designers, and brands who challenge conventional thinking. Whether it’s a one-night installation or a multi-week exhibition, our expertise in event structures and bespoke builds helps turn ambitious concepts into reality.

If you have a creative vision that needs structure, let’s make it happen.
