For the prestigious PIF London Championship at the Centurion Club, we partnered once again with Arena Europe, Middle East & Asia to deliver a range of temporary event structures built from our trusted Layher scaffolding systems.
This high-profile golf tournament required precision-engineered structures that met the highest standards for public access, safety, and presentation — all delivered to a tight deadline during one of the busiest times in our events calendar.
Project Overview
Our work for this event highlighted our expertise in designing and constructing scaffolding-based event infrastructure for international sporting occasions. Using Layher Allround components, we ensured every element was strong, safe, and seamlessly integrated into the event branding.
Scope of Works
- Marquee Substructure
Custom-engineered using Layher scaffolding to support the 18th hole hospitality marquee, creating a level, stable platform on uneven ground. - Entrance & Exit Staircases
Purpose-built for public access, complete with glass handrails for a premium look without compromising safety. - 35 Metres of Drinks Rails
Installed with clear acrylic upstands, giving guests uninterrupted views of the course while maintaining a safe barrier. - 15 Camera Towers
Constructed from Layher scaffolding to provide stable filming positions for broadcasters, ensuring high-quality live coverage. - LED Scaffold Support Structures
Built to securely hold large LED screens, combining the strength of Layher with precision installation for perfect screen positioning.
Challenges & Solutions
- Tight Turnaround: Our experienced crews worked in shifts to meet strict deadlines, ensuring every temporary event structure was in place ahead of schedule.
- Premium Presentation: Integrated high-end finishes, including glass and acrylic, to complement the championship’s VIP hospitality areas.
