Event & Media Structures Ltd was proud to support Performance54 in the delivery of temporary event infrastructure for LIV Golf Andalucía 2026 at the renowned Real Club Valderrama, Spain.
International sporting events demand absolute precision. Every structure must integrate seamlessly with television production, hospitality operations, branding, and spectator experience, all while being delivered to immovable deadlines and the highest safety standards.
For this project, our team designed, supplied, installed, and dismantled a wide range of temporary structures that formed part of the tournament’s operational and broadcast infrastructure.
The Brief
Working alongside Performance54, we were tasked with delivering multiple structural elements across the course to support live broadcasting and the overall event experience.
The project included numerous camera towers of varying heights, large LED screen support structures, operational control positions, and hospitality viewing facilities, together with bespoke cladding and branding integration. The scope also included engineering, logistics, installation, and dismantling services.
Every structure needed to be robust, safe, visually clean, and capable of performing in a demanding live event environment.
Engineering for Live Broadcast
Televised sporting events present unique challenges that go far beyond standard temporary structures. Camera operators require stable elevated platforms with carefully considered sightlines, while large LED screens demand substantial structural support without compromising the aesthetics of the venue.
Each installation was designed to balance functionality with presentation, ensuring that the infrastructure performed flawlessly while blending into the wider event environment.
The result was a series of structures that supported both the operational requirements of the tournament and the experience of spectators on site and audiences watching around the world.
Delivering Within a Complex Environment
Working on an active championship golf course requires meticulous planning and coordination. Access routes, course conditions, multiple contractors, and strict installation programmes all need to be carefully managed.
Our team worked efficiently alongside the wider event delivery team to ensure every structure was completed safely, professionally, and on schedule.
