Project Overview
Event & Media Structures played a central role in delivering temporary infrastructure for the LIV Golf UK tournament, hosted at the JCB Golf and Country Club. With the world’s top players competing and global audiences tuning in, the event required a wide range of high-quality structures to support spectators, media, hospitality, and tournament operations.
Scope and Challenges
Our involvement covered multiple areas of the site, each with its own demands:

Viewing Platforms & Grandstands: Tiered platforms and multi-level viewing decks with glass railings to maximise sightlines and elevate the spectator experience.

Camera Towers & Commentary Platforms: Stable, elevated positions for broadcasters and media, ensuring reliable coverage across the course.

LED Screen Supports & Bridges: Heavy-duty structures to safely carry large LED screens, providing live scores and replays for spectators.

Hospitality & Marquee Substructures: Foundations for hospitality suites, kitchens, and player lounges, delivering level, durable bases on uneven ground.

Walkways & Access Routes: Player and VIP walkways, private access tunnels, pontoon bridges, and multiple staircases for smooth movement across the venue.

Specialist Features: Glass handrails, branded walling, and event deck finishes to complement the premium look and feel of the tournament.
Key challenges included the scale of the site, the variety of requirements, and the need for absolute precision and speed — with everything delivered on a tight schedule before players and fans arrived.

We coordinated closely with event organisers and contractors to deliver a seamless build. Our team:

Outcome
The completed structures formed the backbone of the tournament, enabling smooth operations, world-class broadcast coverage, and an outstanding experience for players, guests, and thousands of fans. From the first tee to the Birdie Shack, our solutions helped bring the LIV Golf UK event to life at JCB.
This project underlined Event & Media Structures’ ability to deliver large-scale, complex scaffolding solutions at speed, setting the stage for one of golf’s most exciting new tournaments.
