For nearly two decades London’s Hyde Park has been getting into the Christmas spirit with its own Winter Wonderland – London’s biggest festive party.

This year IMG asked us to provide several temporary way-finding structures for the event in Hyde Park.

On behalf of IMG we manufactured and supplied 15 way-finding towers (3 m x 70 cm) to help visitors navigate their way around the venue.

Each way-finding tower was built using versatile Layher System Scaffold. Once each Layher scaffold tower had been erected it was covered with a timber frame and made-to-measure di-bond panels. The tower surfaces were then wrapped with weather-proof vinyl, displaying the Winter Wonderland information, graphics, and maps.

Vinyl print is not only slick and great for outdoors, but offers flexibility, as it allows any design to be easily updated or changed.

We positioned the finished towers throughout the 350-acre London park, at strategic points to help the three million expected visitors locate the hundreds of rides, live shows, restaurants and of course the loos.
